Congrats to you both; I'm excited for you both! John, you're one of my closest friends, and I really miss your company. Also: Rob is right about the wolves. I know, because my cousin actually *was* kidnapped by wolves. She didn't have a steak, but she *did* have peanut butter, and that kept them busy for a *long* time. She also told me that when a wolf kidnaps you, it keeps its own phone handy, so that it can talk to your family to extort money/steak/flea-dip/whatever. You won't need your own phone!

I have always been really proud of you & now that I've gotten to know John, really proud of him as a future son in law. I can see the love that you both share. Both of you are have a very strong ‘focus’* for each other and life in general.

You both are an inspiration to me and I think of you two often, with the presence of mind of a middle age-er (50+), looking back at my life and feeling that you two have what it takes to face not just all the good times to come, but also life's trials and tribulations that may come your way.

Just to warn you, I predict a large amount of salty liquidy substance protruding from my eyes. Don't be alarmed!! Seriously though, I request the chicken dance song. There's no wedding without watching everyone flap their hands and shake their butt. I'll have my camera ready... Really though, I'm so happy for both of you and I am truly, very excited for this big day!

Love the site! btw, if you are in fact kidnapped by wolves, a pack of steaks may be more useful than a cell phone. Note that carrying a pack of steaks increases the likelihood of being captured by wolves, which either completes the logic cycle, or negates the situation's relevance since it isn't "near impossible" anymore. Kristin sounds like fun!
