Kristin was born on June 9, 1982, the same day of the year as her cousin Wendy. Kristin is a graduate student at George Mason University, where she works in the Writing Center as the personal statements specialist. But why stop there? Kristin believes in multi-careering, so she is also a Spinning (indoor cycling) instructor and a professional
photographer. She has a profound love for The Washington Post Magazine, the Philadelphia radio station
WXPN, board games, backyard games, most animals, and John. Kristin went to JMU for undergrad and studied English and math, but also played rugby and had a radio show. In 2006, Kristin went to
Kenya, and had a really amazing time, but she really missed John. One of Kristin's favorite pastimes is asking John what he would do in bizarre, near-impossible situations, i.e. if he was being kidnapped by wolves, would he regret not owning a cell phone?
Kristin is grateful to her mother Cassa, her father Tomiken, her step-father Ron, and her mentor-friends Sue, Lola & Pete, and Jeannie; for all their wonderfulness.
